Lennon Tool Bar Verdant (草碧) fountain pen ink is a pale green color. The spring in Taiwan usually comes with rain, which is still freezing cold. However, it is that Spring rain which awakens and nourishes the earth, and the earth finally turns beautifully verdant.
The 2020 Spring Limited Series (2020春季限定) is inspired by the gentle warming after a cold winter. Flora and fauna begin to wake up and grow - spring is a season of transformation.
Lennon Tool Bar was founded in 2014 at Tamsui, Taiwan. Initially they produced and promoted the art and craft of Indigo Dyeing, a business that flourished a century ago when Taiwan exported a considerable amount of “doroai” — or the raw material of colorants used in Indigo Dyeing — to the Japanese Empire. In recent years, Lennon Tool Bar has launched a series of fountain pen inks in order to popularize colors used in Indigo Dyeing and to present the enduring beauty of traditional workmanship.
