CIP is an acronym for Capsule, Ink, and Pen, and as the name suggests colored liquid is sealed in the hollow part of the pen barrel, allowing the user to enjoy the shimmering movement of the ink as they hold the pen. The Matsubokkuri CIP series is a collaboration with South Korean ink brand, Colorverse.
